No, participation in the mathematics preparatory course is completely optional. The course is a great opportunity to refresh your math skills and meet new people. You can find more information about the mathematics preparatory course here.

NHH does not have any fixed holidays other than Christmas break, Easter break, and summer vacation. However, some lecturers choose to give lecture-free weeks during the so-called autumn and winter breaks.

The matriculation ceremony takes place in the Aula at NHH, and you should use Entrance C. It will be clearly signposted. You can see where the Aula is located on the map here.
