Last updated 12.03.2020 at 15.47

After the Prime Minister's press conference, NHH decided to close the school from 6 pm today. If you have books or similar at school or in NHHS areas you need in the near future, this must be picked up today before 6pm.

NHH initially closes until March 26, while NHHS maintains zero physical activity throughout April.

All NHHS group leaders are asked to pass this information on to their members.

We will come back with more information as soon as we have.

Hi,

The Executive Board, the board of the Student Association of the Norwegian School of Economics, has today decided to introduce new measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The measures mean that all physical NHHS activity from Friday 13 March at 23.59 until the end of April will be stopped. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • All NHHS premises are closed. This includes, inter alia, offices and warehouses at Merino, in the Nybygget and Økonomiformidlingens offices in the center.
  • Use of the Basement in addition to the UK's provisions is stopped.
  • NHHI training is canceled.
  • Social and physical events hosted by NHHS-groups are stopped
  • Company presentations are stopped

All bookings and reservations between 14 March and 30 April will be canceled.

UKEN will continue as announced through a press release on March 11. Further information related to the UKEN and the UKEN's events is provided in the UKEN's information channels.

General Assembly 2 is postponed to May and a new date will be announced continuously. The spring election will be carried out at the scheduled time, but with necessary adjustments so that the event does not require physical attendance.

Regnskapsgruppen is fully digital and ordinary operations are maintained, expenses and disbursements are treated as usual. The IT group will also in the next few days send out information on how to use digital tools to work from home.

All leaders in NHHS groups are requested to pass on this press release to their members.

We will keep you updated if changes occur.

The spread of the Corona-virus has resulted in new guidelines and recommendations from Bergen City and national governments to avoid further spread. The avoidance of further spread of the virus requires efforts from all parts of the society.

Because of this, NHHS is now looking at how operations at our premises and upcoming events will be affected. We will do everything we can to facilitate the student union's activity in the future, but there may be changes associated with, for example, General Assembly 2, the spring election, the May 17 breakfast and the Basement (Kjelleren).

We will come back with more information here and at nhhs.no as soon as we have something new to report. Until then, we ask you to follow the advice of the authorities and stay home if you feel sick.
