Ettermiddagspraten | Afternoon talk with Malin Arve
11. mars 2021 @ 16:15 - 18:00

The Student committee (SUN) and NHH presents a new initiative his spring: Afternoon talk! This is a social initiative where all students have the opportunity to meet and talk to employees at the school. Every other week we will get together physically/digitally and have a cup of coffee or tea and a chat. Here, we will be able to discuss multiple topics, such as innovation, women in finance, sustainability and more. The whole concept is that you are able to ask any type of question and let the talk flow. A representative from SUN will be present to help out, but the event is open for everyone!
This time we are lucky to be joined by our vice rector for academic affairs, Malin Arve! She is an associate professor at the institute for business and management science and got her PhD from the Toulouse School of Economics. She worked at the University of Mannheim before joining NHH. Malin’s research is relatively theoretical and included microeconomics, contracts and incentive theory, but for someone who likes to get lost in the details of a technical model, she is a very open person. She is engaged in the research community at NHH as head of the Center for Business Economics. When she is not vice rector, she is responsible for a master’s course on purchase management where she cooperates with the practical procurement community in Norway. This is your chance to get to know Malin better – grab a coffee and join us!
