MEBA Council is the student group that works towards the interests of the MiB and ENE students at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH). MiB is the abbreviation for MSc in International Business, ENE stands for MSc in Energy, Natural Resources and the Environment. Our council is a part of the student union, NHHS. Our main aims are building the international community within NHH and contributing towards the student union by organizing the annual MEBA Forum. Our overarching goal is to improve the reputation of NHH internationally. MEBA Council also frequently organizes social events both for international and Norwegian students at the school, in cooperation with other student groups and NHHS.
Our four main aims
1. Welcoming and integrating new MiB and ENE students to NHH and Norway
2. Championing integration between international and Norwegian student bodies at NHH
3. Improving the international academic program
4. Ensuring superior career prospects for MiB and ENE graduates
We are doing everything to achieve these aims. We are open to any ideas or suggestions from MiB and ENE students.
MEBA Council is also a member branch of International Student Union of Norway (ISU) at NHHS. In this capacity, we work towards the improvement of the living and studying conditions for all international students at the school. We represent and protect the rights of the international students towards the school and local government.
